Yo yo! This is my first blog so please go easy on me! Without further ado, let’s roll! My name is Ieva and I’m a motion graphics specialist with a passion for animation and all that is to the graphic design. I create motion graphics that are not only beautiful, but can effectively convey a message.
Since the age of 14, I have been fascinated by the power of visual communication and the ability of computer animation to tell a story and evoke certain emotions. I began by researching different design programs and universities and eventually decided to enroll in a graphic design program at Middlesex University. This was a turning point in my life as it gave me the opportunity to gain a solid foundation in the principles of visual communication, stop motion animation, and creative thinking.
It allowed me to master very cool software including Adobe After Effects,
Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, and many more.
I think what draws me to motion graphics the most is the freedom. I really really love the creative freedom that motion graphics provides, and the ability to take an idea and turn it into a fully-realized, moving piece of art. But don’t get me wrong here. I strongly believe that it is important to strike a balance between utilizing my creative freedom and understanding the needs and preferences of my clients.
This often involves taking my client’s ideas into consideration while also bringing my own unique perspective and style to the project. A sense of pride and accomplishment in seeing a happy customer and a project from concept to completion is what drives me the most.
In addition to my passion for motion graphics, I enjoy spending my free time staying active and healthy, exploring artsy stuff, and experimenting with new technologies. These activities help me recharge, stay inspired, and come back to my projects with renewed energy and focus!
