In 2023, we can expect to see exciting new trends in motion graphics design (as always) that will enhance how we create and consume visual content. In this blog, we'll explore the top 5 trends in motion graphics design for 2024!
1) 3D MOTION DESIGN
In my opinion, 3D motion design will be a major trend in 2024. With the increasing popularity of virtual and augmented reality, motion graphics designers will need to create content that can be viewed in a 3D space. This will require a combination of technical and creative skills, as well as knowledge of software such as Adobe After Effects and other 3D animation programs.
2) BOLD TYPOGRAPHY
Typography has always been an important element of motion graphics design, but in 2024 we may see even more bold and creative typography out there. Designers will experiment with typography in new and uncanny ways, using animation and special effects to create text that is both striking and easy to read.
3) MINIMALISM
Minimalism has been a trend in motion graphics for several years and I think it will continue to be popular in 2024. Motion graphics designers may use simple and clean design elements to create animations that are both elegant and effective. This trend is particularly well suited for creating short and effective animations for social media.
4) ORGANIC ANIMATIONS
Organic animations that mimic natural movements and shapes may be a hit in 2024. These animations will add depth and realism to motion graphics, making them more engaging and memorable. This may sound controversial, but I think that interactive motion graphic swill continue to gain popularity in 2024. As users demand more engaging and personalised experiences, motion graphics designers will need to create content that is not only visually appealing but also super interactive. This could involve using technologies such as VR and AR or creating animations that respond to user input.
